The seed of inspiration for Namaste Aloha
The seed of inspiration for Namaste Aloha grew while we were traveling in India. While on the hunt for beautiful used saris for Audrey Acosta Designs, we were surprised to see, first-hand, how much new fabric was being left unused and discarded by high-end designers printing textiles for their clothing brands.
We have spent more than a decade specializing in recycling and it has become second-nature to us to think outside the box. Seeing such gorgeous designer fabric and sari remnants ignited our creative fire and alas Namaste Aloha was born.
Focusing on new fabrics — made from remnant designer prints — continues our company’s deep commitment to green business practices. In addition, this new venture offers us yet another way to support the lovely artisans that we have worked with for nearly 12 years.
We practice fair trade principles and each item we sell from Namaste Aloha generates meaningful income for them, their families and their community. We hold our artisans dear to our heart. Together, we all can thrive.
